02.08.10Lithuanian PM spends annual holiday in Belarus
July 27, Prime Minister, in a convoy of 30 bicyclists went off on a week cycling trip on Belarusian roads of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, visiting Nesvizh and Lida. Apert from Kubilius and his wife Rasa the trip was attended by Minister of Economy Dainius Kryayvis and Minister of social protection and labor Donatas Jankauskas.
In Niasvizh Prime Minister toured the city on horse-drawn carriage, looked Slutskaya Brahma, Farny cathedral and the tomb of Prince Radziwill. He also paid a visit to the castle of princes Radziwill.
When answering questions from journalists about his impressions of travelling in Belarus, Andrius Kubilius said: “I have a very good impression. We have chosen a very good route”.

He also stressed that, visiting places such as here in Niasvizh, one can feel the breath of history - the history that was made up for hundreds of years, and travelling through such historic sites are very touching. "We are pleased to see this history in Belarus, and we are pleased with our holiday," - said Andrius Kubilius.
