Lake District
The greatest fame to Naroch Region is brought by its lakes. All in all there are 43 different types of lakes, divided into four groups: Naroch (Naroch Myastro, Batorino, Blednoye) Myadeł (Myadel, Volchino, Kuzmichi, Lotvino, Rudakovo), Svirsk (Svir, Svirnische) and Bolduk (Bolduk, Glublya and Glubelka), better known as Blue Lake. There are ponds, such as Lake Great Shvakshty, not included in any of these groups.
