The main goal of the annual holiday is the union of Slavonic nations of Russia, Belarus and Ukraine through historical traditional cultural, spiritual, vital connections. Choir, orchestra, dance and folk collectives of Belarus, Russia, Ukraine and the Baltic States participate in the holiday.
