The investment forum “Belovezhskaya Pushcha – Tourism and Recreation” was held on 19 October 2011 in the National park Belovezhskaya Pushcha.

The forum was organized by the Sports and Tourism Ministry of the Republic of Belarus, Brest and Grodno regional executive committees.

Deputy Prime Minister Anatoliy Tozik, Minister of sport and tourism Oleg Kachan, Chairmen of Brest and Grodno regional executive committees Konstantin Sumar and Semyon Shapiro.

Ministries of Economy, Finances, Foreign Affairs, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, Architecture and Construction, Transport and Communications, State Committee on Property, National Agency on Investments and Privatization; FEZ “Brest”; “Grodnoinvest”; Pruzhany, Kamenets and Svisloch district executive committees; Minsk municipal executive committees on physical education, sports and tourism; the heads of enterprises in Grodno and Brest regions; Belarusian Union of Entrepreneurs, Belarusian Union of Tourism Agencies and other investors sent their representatives to discuss the agenda issues.

During the tour along the highway bypass around the territory of “Belovezhskaya Pushcha” National park and its engineering infrastructure, the forum’s participants got acquainted with the investment construction sites of tourism objects in Pruzhany and Kamenets districts.

Apart from that, the investors have visited the already implemented investment projects (Kletnoe, Belovezhskaya Pushcha). In the course of the investment forum, every interested person was able to visit the exposition, revealing the facilities of the Republic of Belarus in the sphere of tourism.
