04.10.10Belarus to partake in World Travel Market

Belarus is set to partake in World Travel Market-2010 exhibition in London on 8-11 November.

Belarus regularly partakes in World Travel Market. This year Belarusian exposition will be dedicated to the Junior Eurovision-2011 song contest, which will be held in Minsk on 20 November.

“At the same time we do not make it aim to invite tourists to the Junior Eurovision, since the contest will be held only a week after the exhibition. The exposition will be just another chance to represent Belarus at an international forum.

Apart from the National Tourism Agency, taking part in the London exhibition will be about ten Belarusian travel companies (twice as many as in 2009).

Unlike many other travel exhibitions, World Travel Market is designed for experts of the travel industry. “The exhibition is very important for us. Foremost, we can present Belarus as a tourist destination. And at the same time we can take the opportunity and find good partners,” summarized chairman of the marketing and publishing department of Belarus’ National Tourism Agency Valery Boldyrev.
