On 28 -29 May 2009 the Ministry of Sport and Tourism together with the National Travel Agency held a republic seminar “Improving the Quality of Services in Hotels. Normative and Legal Regulation of the Hotel's Services”

During the period of crisis those enterprises can be competitive that offer high quality service for a fair price. Even a low price but for a lower level of quality is not interesting for consumers. Many items such as “A high – quality work without violation of lows”, ‘Where to look for competitive advantage that can help a hotel to get regular customers”, “How to motivate the staff members to work fully” were discussed during the seminar.

We are pleased to note a high activity of the seminar members. After the seminar everybody noted the high level of the seminar and a need of holding such educational activities in the questionnaire. Some interesting practical questions were obtained and the seminar members would like to get response to them next time.

The members of the National Travel Agency are interested in a fruitful co-operation with representatives of hotel business and are ready to consider any proposals of the seminar members.
